Installation of the plug-in

For viewing the documents of the Digital Library it is necessary to install the plug in DjVuBrowserŽ di LizardTech (available for MS explorer and Netscape on Windows or Macintosh).

For Netscape-4.x, Netscape-6.x, Mozilla, Galeon, Konqueror and Opera, on Unix/Linux the plug-in of the open source project DjVuLibre is available.


The digital library of the Augusta Library is an on-line service that is intended to improve and to render particular archives from the appropriate historical collections that can be consulted on the internet.

Consultation of the documents is free; a printed or downloaded version of the material is possible from the Municipal Libraries of Perugia: Augusta, Multimediale, Biblionet, Sandro Penna di S.Sisto or through a forwarded request to the Augusta Library, Via delle prome 15 06122 Perugia fax 075 5722231.
